Rooted in Love

Love that embraces you without words, touch or sound. It is silent and still, yet loud and profound. It meets all my needs. This is the type of love I desire for a lifetime and I am grateful for it: awareness and care - silence; compassion, drive and elevation - silence; deep affection and correction - silence; deep thought, gentle action - silence; care without a sound - silence.

In this moment, I felt the need to come on today before eating to freestyle from my heart to unload the heaviness of life and trade it in for silent love and affection that comes from above - my maker, my king , the only one who gives me everything. Even when I don't ask or complete a task, he provides in a way like no other. His provision extends to cover my mother and her heritage. Why would I ever worry, fret or be afraid of the odds and ends? Maybe I am concerned about the hows, whys and whens. But I'm putting those on the side right now and trading it for silence. In silence I am present to receive the gift of love, yes the gift that flows free from above.
